Accelerators help early teams to go from 0→1 fast with mentorship, network and funding. YC is one of the most famous accelerators out there but there are a lot of good accelerators apart from YC as well.

You ideally need to be working an idea with a team (with some exceptions for solo founders) and looking to build a venture scalable company to join one of these.
